Ellis Cardiac Classic - Virtual Race

About this event

Come out for the 45th annual Cardiac Classic at Central Park on Thanksgiving morning - a Schenectady community tradition.

Your participation in the Cardiac Classic helps support cardiac care for patients at Ellis Medicine.

Race Completion: Virtual race must be completed by 12/1/2026

Choose your Participation Experience: In-person Registration - Join us on race day at Central Park, with event-day amenities and support. Virtual Registration - Complete your run on your own time, in any place, and you can still be part of the Cardiac Classic community.

Schedule of Events: 8am: Wellness Walk (2 Miles) 9am: 5K Road Race 10am: Kids Fun Run (1 Mile)

Cost: In-person $35 per 5K Runner $25 per Wellness Walker Kids Fun Run is Free

Virtual $30 per Virtual 5K Runner

Shirts Register by November 6 to have your shirt by race day!

Shirt Deadline: Register by November 6 to guarantee your shirt at Packet Pickup. After November 6, a limited supply will be available in registration order. If we cannot fulfill your shirt selection from that supply, we will order it for you and notify you when it is available for pickup at the Foundation Office at 1101 Nott Street, B4.

FAQs "Are strollers allowed?" - On the 2 mile Wellness Walk only. No wheeled apparatuses are permitted on the 5k run. "Are dogs allowed?" - On the 2 mile Wellness Walk only. Please be sure to clean up after your pup - thanks!
