Gratefully Yours

About this event

Gratefully Yours is a band inspired by the Grateful Dead, hailing from New Paltz, NY. The group was created and established in 2012 by keyboardist Alex Mazur, who also founded The Deadbeats, one of the longest-running Grateful Dead cover bands.

However, referring to Gratefully Yours as a "cover band" doesn't do justice to their music. Their performances are characterized by a willingness and ability to improvise, embracing spontaneity and the energy of the moment, which distinguishes them significantly. In the finest tradition of The Grateful Dead, this openness allows the audience to engage in the creative process, creating a unique and special synergy between the band and the crowd. This magical connection is what Gratefully Yours truly seeks to "cover" and honor.

They further engage their audience by inviting them to submit their dream set lists, which Gratefully Yours might choose to perform. Yet, you never know what surprises might unfold...
