- ➤ The College will host a public burial in the spring for a partial human skull believed to be from a young woman killed in the 1690 massacre, working with representatives from Vale Cemetery + First Reformed Church to honor one of the city's earliest victims. Union College
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Via Aquarium closed temporarily on Monday after a minor electrical fire occurred behind the scenes at its exhibit (no animals or staff were injured); officials will inspect the facility before it reopens. WNYT
- ➤ Woodlawn Elementary closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27 after a water main break disrupted service in the Woodlawn community (officials are assessing repairs) and plans to restore water are underway. CBS 6 Albany
