A free lunchtime lecture scheduled for next month will examine how Shaker women helped shape a major museum collection at a local museum — spotlighting their contributions during Women’s History Month.

New York Attorney General Letitia James and 16 other states are suing the federal government over a request for college admissions data.

Officials say the demand will force state schools to shift resources needed for other programs.

Dr. Sonya Hauser and Dr. Theresa DeLorenzo from Russell Sage College say a healthy gut microbiome, a community of good bacteria, helps with digestion, weight, and mood.

They advise eating fermented foods (like kimchi and kombucha) and fiber-rich fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to keep your gut strong.

Union’s new indoor turf facility at Brooks Field now offers softball, baseball, and lacrosse teams a safe space to train (converted from the former ice rink), and it features dedicated batting and pitching areas plus a state-of-the-art strength training facility (dedication scheduled for April 25).
