CRIME NEWS

  • Glenville Police are asking for help to locate John M Molnar, an 89-year-old man with memory loss who may need urgent medical care—he was last seen driving a gray Subaru Outback on Glenridge Road late Saturday night with his son, and anyone with information should call 518-630-0911 or 911.  CBS 6 Albany
  • Rotterdam police are investigating an alleged stabbing Sunday night — town police Chief Michael Brown said.  The Daily Gazette

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • New York state’s annual burn ban has been active since March 16th and will continue until May 14th to help stop wildfires in dry brush areas. The Department of Environmental Conservation warns that residents who burn debris may face a minimum fine of $500 — officials stress that following the ban is vital for fire safety.  CBS 6 Albany
