- ➤ Governor Hochul announced the new FutureWorks Commission to prepare workers and businesses for AI changes. The commission will guide AI Prep programs for internships and jobs statewide — supporting fair transitions in the workforce. CBS 6 Albany
- ➤ John D’Alessandro from FASNY appeared on Power & Politics to discuss volunteer firefighter staffing challenges and said there is no public safety crisis. He stressed that any plan to provide volunteer pay must have strict oversight & fairness for nearly 1800 fire departments. CBS 6 Albany
- ➤ New documents on the Martin Dunham Dam’s future are expected within weeks (including a detailed emergency action plan) as local leaders and state experts continue discussions over potential dam removal amid winter conditions at the reservoir. WNYT
