ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Fire crews battled a two-alarm fire at a vacant two-family home at 912 Francis Street Saturday morning—firefighters contained the blaze to the second floor and attic with no injuries reported and the cause under investigation.  WNYT

SPORTS NEWS

  • This morning, Delightful Run for Women began its annual training challenge for nearly 250 women preparing for the 5K race on May 31, with sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and full-group runs on Saturday mornings—offering structured guidance for every fitness level. Registration for the challenge is open until April 6 while sign-ups for the race close on May 28.  WNYT
  • Former Northville coach Jim Zullo lost his job after pulling a player's hair during Friday's Class D state championship game and has apologized to the player, her family, the team, and the school community — investigators at Hudson Valley Community College are working with law enforcement, but no charges have been filed.  CBS 6 Albany
