- ➤ Baby Animal Days begins today at Indian Ladder Farms as families meet baby animals like lambs, piglets, and ducklings while visiting Lamb Land, the Chicken Café, and Goat Playground. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through April 26 (family fun for all ages). CBS 6 Albany

- ➤ Department officials appeared on Power and Politics this week to discuss proposals for a new education funding formula and a request for $15.2 million to expand programs — their talk comes amid continuing state budget challenges as they work to improve equity for high-need students. - ➤ The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s FSIS has warned that dino-shaped Great Value chicken breast nuggets sold at Walmart may contain elevated lead levels.
