- ➤ Emma StarPoint Autism Support Network will host its 3rd annual fundraiser next weekend—an event designed to support families with autistic children during Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month. - ➤ Over 3,000 volunteers joined New York’s Canal Clean Sweep, a 20-year effort cleaning the 524-mile Erie Canal and 400-mile Canalway Trail—scheduled across more than 180 sites. Cleanup efforts will continue through the weekend—marking the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal. CBS 6 Albany

- ➤ Brian Jenkins went missing near Albany on Saturday 10 years ago+ his daughters received a text from him after he left the Capital City Rescue Mission and noted being outside near a wooded area by the Port of Albany. - ➤ Schenectady will host the second Nightmare Market on May 17 at Jay Street Marketplace with over 70 vendors offering vintage items, Halloween trinkets and spooky art + live attractions including tarot readings and a live fire show.
