  • Protesters held a May Day rally on Balltown Road in Niskayuna Friday — calling for worker advocacy and fair labor practices. The demonstration marked International Workers' Day and drew local attention to employment issues.  CBS 6 Albany
  • The Joan Nicole Prince Home is hosting a walk-run today in Central Park to raise awareness for end-of-life care with a $25 entry fee. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and the run runs from 9 to 9:45 a.m. (each lap earns a raffle ticket).  CBS 6 Albany
  • The remains of Troy native Joseph Burke, identified last year from remains in Honolulu, will be transferred at Albany International Airport today by the NY Army National Guard with CBS6 reporting, before his reinterment at Saratoga National Cemetery next Thursday.  CBS 6 Albany
