- ➤ Today, Schenectady is hosting the National Electric Vehicle Association’s annual meeting and awards ceremony that began Friday and will end today at Lynkwell from 10 a.m. to noon with tours, test drives, and discussions on EV progress while Mayor Gary McCarthy and industry leaders highlighted the city’s work on charging stations and sustainability upgrades and noted challenges with federal tax credits. - ➤ New York State DEC announced that Air Quality Awareness Week will run from May 5th through May 9th as part of a nationwide EPA campaign to educate residents on protecting clean air.
