- ➤ Schenectady woman Gina L. Luby was arrested on May 6 for allegedly stealing over $50K from a Duanesburg business while working in its accounting department from January 2022 to December 2023—State Police said. WNYT
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ St. Mary’s Healthcare opened the Charlton Family Health and Specialty Center at the intersection of Route 67 and Route 147, offering primary care, lab, and specialty services Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The center replaced an urgent care facility that closed during the COVID-19 pandemic and is now accepting new primary care patients. - ➤ The New York State Department of Health, DEC and the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation today warned residents to take extra steps against ticks as warmer weather means increased outdoor activity — they advise wearing long clothes, using repellents and checking for ticks to help prevent Lyme disease and other infections.
