Hudson Valley Community College is offering free summer courses for New York high school juniors and seniors that cover up to eight credits and include tuition, books, and fees paid by a scholarship.

The Schenectady County Legislature approved a resolution to boost ambulance services by entering into a Mutual Aid Ambulance Agreement with Rotterdam EMS that will add a dedicated ambulance staffed by one paramedic and one EMT from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day to shorten response times.
