Schenectady County SummerNight celebrates 20 years of community fun on Friday, July 10.

The event will take over State Street and Jay Street near City Hall with music, food, a kids zone, a live sand sculpture, and a fireworks display sponsored by Price Chopper/Market 32.

Twelve graduating seniors will display artwork in the Crowell and West galleries at the Feigenbaum Center for the Visual Arts tomorrow, May 15, with a reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the show available by appointment through June 16 (free event).

Schenectady will host its 2nd Annual Trash Parade on Jay St on Friday at 6:30 p.m.; locals can view recycled art, add to a flower sculpture — and celebrate pollinators during this lively event.
