- ➤ Voters in many Capital Region school districts approved budgets, tax increases and bus purchase plans while electing board members. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ CDC preliminary figures showed that overdose deaths in New York dropped 32% from 2023 to 2024—falling from 6,688 to 4,567 cases—with opioids involved in 77% of these fatalities. State programs to expand addiction treatment and provide free naloxone are credited with the decrease. News10 ABC
