- ➤ Michael Brophy, the new president of HVCC, said he will spend his first year listening to faculty by sending out anonymous surveys before he officially starts on August 1. The Greene County native, in his fourth college presidency, aims to use the feedback—collected through the surveys—to help provide the resources needed in classrooms. WNYT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Belmont Pop Warner in Schenectady asked the city for $47,000 to lower costs—helping families afford helmets, shoulder pads, and uniforms during the upcoming season. Councilmember Damonni Farley presented the request at a city council committee meeting on June 2nd, and the council will decide on the funding as part of budget talks. CBS 6 Albany
