A Schenectady man, Adam Fazzone (31), was indicted on two burglary counts after allegedly forcing entry into a home on Bohner Avenue and attacking a man at another residence on Kellogg Avenue in Colonie; he injured himself during his arrest, received treatment at Albany Medical Center, and faces up to 30 years in prison.

Schenectady police found a dead body at 760 Albany Street Tuesday morning+ they are investigating the case with an autopsy and toxicology report scheduled to determine further details.

Fredericks, 47, was arrested Tuesday at 9:34 p.m. after fleeing officers on foot during a traffic stop at Central Avenue and Rawson Street where they found him with a loaded .22 revolver and drugs including 97 grams of cocaine plus fentanyl intended for distribution—he faces multiple felony charges and will be arraigned on June 18 in Albany City Criminal Court.

The Sci-Fi Schenectady Film Fest starts Friday and will show sci-fi movies — interactive exhibits and themed parties encourage costumes.
