- ➤ Today, Steve Gilbert hosted the fourth annual cornhole tournament at Wolf Hollow Brewing — with food and entertainment from Hair of the Dog — to raise funds for muscular dystrophy research. - ➤ Patrick LaFortune Jr., a 32-year-old business owner and mentor from Schenectady, died last week in a motorcycle crash on Route 9W in Glenmont when a southbound car crossed the center line—his funeral Saturday will serve as a call for safer roads. News10 ABC

- ➤ Six hundred cyclists ended an eight-day 400-mile bike tour along the Erie Canal today, riding from Buffalo to Albany to mark the 27th event and the canal's 200th anniversary & riders faced challenges like flat tires and long days while a mobile bike mechanic helped along the way. News10 ABC
