- ➤ Police in Schenectady are investigating shootings that occurred early Sunday morning when two individuals were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds—officials say the incident happened near Duane Avenue and urge anyone with information to call the police tips line. - ➤ New York State Police are investigating the death of a 9-year-old child in Watervliet, as the child was found at a home on 2nd Avenue and pronounced dead at Samaritan Hospital on Saturday. News10 ABC
- ➤ Police responded to an incident outside the Family Dollar store on Eastern Parkway in Schenectady around 9 p.m. and towed a vehicle + set up crime tape while no injuries were reported as they investigate what led to the response. CBS 6 Albany
