- ➤ Sa’fyre Terry and her family are ready to go to court today in Albany as Edward Leon—accused of starting the deadly Hulett Street fire 12 years ago that killed David Terry and three children—faces charges of malicious use of fire to destroy property resulting in death. WNYT
- ➤ A Pattersonville man was arrested for driving a stolen black dump truck that hit multiple cars in Nelliston on August 2 and caused a two-car crash in Florida after he refused to comply with deputies and fled on foot—authorities say the truck came from Schenectady County. WNYT

- ➤ Pati Mesick-Kiel, a former special education teacher's assistant and two-time cancer survivor, is fighting sarcoma for a second time while Sarcoma Strong, created by Dr. Matthew DiCaprio, supports local research and patients—she will participate in the twelfth annual 5K fundraiser on Saturday, August 9 at Saratoga Spa State Park.
