In Schenectady, Shari Bailey, founder of Zigglebee and nonprofit Laila’s Gift, is using her caregiving journey to launch a new safety wristband to alert caregivers when children with special needs wander.

Superintendent Thomas Reardon said Schalmont CSD needs a $54M expansion project to handle growing enrollment; if voters approve the measure, fifth grade will move to Jefferson Elementary.
