- ➤ A serious crash closed the westbound Thruway in Schenectady near exits 25 and 26 — police are investigating the incident that shut down the highway after 9 p.m. Saturday. WNYT
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Russell Sage College reached its highest enrollment in a decade with nearly 3,000 students and many moving into dorms over the weekend. The college plans to merge with the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and will start classes Monday — a move expected to grow enrollment to about 4,000 as it seeks to become Russell Sage University.
