➤ A state report shows that gun violence in Albany dropped by more than half, with shooting incidents falling from 38 to 18 and victims from 46 to 26, while many residents doubt the data and officials credit programs like GIVE for the decline — Capital Region agencies including those in Schenectady received over $5 million from a $36 million state investment.
