- ➤ The 477 new first-year students, including many from diverse backgrounds, are set to begin their journey at Union as they move in on August 29 and join a refreshed orientation focused on community and leadership. Convocation will be held on Sept. 2 at Memorial Chapel—featuring faculty prizes and celebrations—followed by classes starting Sept. 3. Union College

- ➤ Ellis Medicine Pediatric Care received a $25,000 state grant to boost its HealthySteps program—supporting early childhood care for over a thousand local families, with 90% of them on Medicaid.
