EDUCATION NEWS

  • This Fall, the college changed its dining services by closing West Dining and the Market while adjusting hours and menus at Dutch, Rathskeller and the convenience store—leaving students upset about fewer meal options and longer waits. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Utility bills have gone up after National Grid was allowed to raise rates by about $22 in August and lawmakers questioned the Public Service Commission's oversight. Chair Rory Christian said in a hearing that aging equipment is the main cause and added that programs—like the Energy Affordability Program—are helping to protect customers’ budgets.  CBS 6 Albany
