- ➤ Gucciardo Real Estate Group hosts the first annual Golden Hearts event to offer companionship for seniors and widows without nearby family this Thanksgiving—space is limited. The free event takes place on November 20 at 1 p.m. at Metro 7 diner on Troy Schenectady Road. CBS 6 Albany
- ➤ The 12th annual Convoy for Tots run will begin Sunday morning at Ballston Spa Middle/High School to help Capital Region Toys for Tots support children in upstate—set to add more dropbox locations. In 2024, over 1 million toys helped 682,380 children and the program plans to grow from 900 to 1,000 dropbox sites—boosting its local impact. CBS 6 Albany

- ➤ The Creative Connections Clubhouse in Amsterdam celebrated 10 years by receiving a $20,000 donation from National Grid to extend its programs — including woodworking, sewing, and music classes attended by 40 to 60 kids each week at the old church on Route 5. Staff are fundraising for a gymnasium and have raised $1 million so far — they need another million to complete the project. CBS 6 Albany
