Good morning, Schenectady. Here's your local news at a glance for Friday, the 4th of April.

  • On March 21 at 1:23 p.m., the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office responded to a burglary on Stella Lane in Providence where 45-year-old Thomas Toth of Schenectady was arrested on charges of burglary, criminal mischief, petit larceny, criminal contempt, and allegedly violating an order of protection.  CBS 6 Albany

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Schenectady will temporarily delay enforcement for its new bulk trash sticker program as city officials mail residents three free stickers—enforcement will begin in May.  The Daily Gazette
  • The New York State Office of Cannabis Management and the New York State Department of Labor unveiled the Responsible Workforce Training Program which requires new workers in licensed cannabis businesses to complete a free, four-part safety training within 30 days of starting their job—this makes New York the first to mandate such training. The courses cover product safety, labor standards and cultural competency to ensure the workforce follows clear safety guidelines.  CBS 6 Albany

HEALTH NEWS

  • The EPA will decide on April 8 if it will ease PFAS drinking water rules that limit chemicals to 4 parts per trillion—a rule affecting over 1.3 million local residents. The Key to a $1.3T Opportunity

A new trend in real estate is making the most expensive properties obtainable. It’s called co-ownership, revolutionizing the $1.3T vacation home market.

The company leading the trend? Pacaso. Co-created by the founder of Zillow, Pacaso turns underutilized luxury properties into fully-managed assets and makes them accessible to the broadest possible market.

The result? $1B+ in transactions and associated service fees, 2,000+ happy homeowners, and over $110M in gross profits for Pacaso.

Now, after 41% YoY gross profit growth last year, Pacaso has officially reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

Join notable investors like Maveron as a Pacaso shareholder today for just $2.90/share.

This is a paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals.
